With the new GDPR regulations, does this mean that creating filters to block messages from sending addresses can no longer be created because senders can file lawsuits against recipients for misusing and storing their information? If not, why?
No. Email addresses alone are not personal data and the sender has already “soft Opted-in“ by sending it to you in the first place.
