I'm trying to restore my Cpanel account from a backup. The restoring action freezes when it gets to the fixing mail permission part of the process. How do I resolve this?
There are 2 ways you can resolve this:
1. You can use the Cpanel WHM by going to WHM > Email > Repair mailbox permissions
If this does not work, option 2 will:
2. You can run the mailperm directive from SSH as root. You should use the following command:
/scripts/mailperm username
The username in step 2 should be the Cpanel user name.
