Error 500.19 Cannot Read Configuration File Due to Insufficient Permissions when trying to set up SmarterMail site in IIS
Open IIS and click on the SmarterMail site once just to select it.
On the right-hand side of the page, double-click Authentication.
Right-click on Anonymous Authentication and choose Edit.
Put a tick in Application Pool Identity and click OK.
