How do I know when Declude Hijack permanently holds outgoing email?
Declude Hijack comes with a built-in notification component that will trigger if the 2nd threshold (permanent hold) is reached. This is very easy to set up.
First, be sure that the HIJNOTIFY directive in the hijack.cfg file is set to ON. Next, you will find a file called hijacknotify.eml in your root Declude directory. Open this file with a text editor such as Notepad and change the TO: address to the address where you would like the notification emails sent.
Please note that you can only use one address in this area. If you need the notification sent to more than one email address, what you would need to do is create an alias address on your mail server and add the addresses that you need the alert to be sent to. Then you would use the alias address as the TO: address in the hijacknotify.eml file.
