How to configure Declude for best practices
1) Find the Declude folder. Open the $default$.junkmail file
2) Find the TRIGGERS section, ensure WEIGHT10, WEIGHT14, WEIGHT20, and WEIGHT30 all say WARN.
3) Open the declude.cfg file.
4) Find the AUTOREVIEW line and add a # in front of the AUTOREVIEW text.
5) Open the global file.
6) Find and add a # in front of the SNF-FEEDBACK text.
7) Find the BLACKLISTS section, remove and replace only the "[PATH" text in the [PATH\blacklist.txt line with c:\smartermail\declude\filters or another path location of your choosing.
8) Find the RBL IP4R TESTS section, remove the line that starts with RU-DUL.
9) Find the FILTERS section, remove the # in front of the following lines: FILTER-NOSENDER, FILTER-BACKSCATTER, GOOD-REVDNS, HAM-INDICATOR, FILTER-ADULT, FILTER-DRUGS, FILTER-MEDICAL, FILTER-BULK, FILTER-COUNTRY, FILTER-SPAM, FILTER-SUBJECT, FILTER-ZOMBIE, ISP-HOTMAIL, ISP-YAHOO, FILTER-PHISH, FILTER-SCAM, and PRE-TESTED
NOTE: Removing a # symbol in these files enables the feature on the server.
10) In the blank line between ISP-YAHOO and #FILTER-DIAL, copy/paste the entire ISP-YAHOO line, changing all instances of "ISP-YAHOO" to "ISP-GOOGLE" in the new line.
11) At this time, change the [PATH] text in all the above filter lines to the actual path where the filters are located. The default path is C:\smartermail or you can change it to one of your choosing.
12) Find the OUTBOUND ACTIONS ONLY section, change WEIGHT14 to WARN.
13) Open the Hijack file. Find the ALLOWIP 127.0.0.1 line and put a # in front of it.
14) Open the HijackNotify.eml file. Change the TO address from support@mailsbestfriend.com to the email address you want to be alerted if Hijack is triggered.
15) Open the virus cfg file. Find the ALLOWVULNERABILITY section and remove the # in front of all of the ALLOWVULNERABILITY lines.
