Smartertools has verified as of 3-30-2016 that the Imail to Smartermail Conversion Tool that they offer on their website is not working properly for conversions from Imail to Smartermail version 14x. Other versions of Smartermail such as 13 and 15 may be affected as well. This has become a problem for people wanting to migrate from Imail to Smartermail. Their development team is aware of the issue, but they do not have an ETA as to when the tool will be repaired.

There is a way to migrate from Imail to Smartermail without using the tool. There is a different tool available called IMAPCopy. In our professional opinion, this is the most pain-free way to get the migration completed.

Please note... The tool has to be run one domain at a time, but you can have it migrate all users at once.
